🗳️ PTA Board Elections Coming Up! 🗳️

📅 Date: Wednesday, 4/30
🕒 Time: 6PM
📍 Location: Flex Room @ THE

We're excited to announce that elections for open board seats are approaching! Your participation is crucial to ensure we have a quorum and can proceed with the elections.

Open Seats:

Vice-President: Kristine Hofstad, our current Secretary is volunteering to run as VP next year.
Secretary: Nicole Dronen, former Board member, is volunteering to come back as Secretary
Interested in throwing your hat in the ring? The more the merrier! Please email us at tumwaterhillpta@gmail.com so that we can add you to the ballot and provide other important information for the process.

The election process is being overseen by PTA member Carrie Wayno. Ballots and voting information will come home via paper flyer in backpacks and she will be communicating with membership via email.

🎉 **Calling All Bingo Fans! Please join us for a free night of family fun playing bingo** 🎉

All proceeds raised will be used to purchase recess and PE equipment! Last year we raised almost $900.

📢✨ Yearbook Sales Alert! ✨📢

Get ready to grab your **2024-2025 Tumwater Hill Elementary Yearbook!** 🎉 Sales start **4/28** and run through **5/16**—just **$15 each!** 📚💙 Flyers will be sent home in April with all the details! Stay tuned! 📬😊

Tumwater Hill Elementary PTA is excited to offer one $1000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior who attended THE, served their community, and are continuing their education. Please submit your completed application by April 20th, 2025. The winner will be notified on or before April 30th.

We’ve got a fun-filled spring ahead of us!

For a **$5 donation**, you'll be entered to win a **local gift card**, thanks to our amazing sponsors: **Humble Cow Ice Cream** & **Sweetlee's Ice Cream**! 🍦💙
💫 **Proceeds support Share the Fair**, which helps students shop at the Book Fair when they otherwise couldn’t. In the fall, **81 students** were able to participate thanks to your generosity!
📖 Proceeds also help fund **library books** and **literacy programs** at our school.

We wanted to take a moment to share some tidbits about why joining the PTA is important, and what exactly that means. Joining the PTA doesn’t make you a board member-it just means you get to vote on what the PTA spends money on! That’s it. All the volunteering and hosting events is extra (and SO appreciated and needed), but when you’re a PTA member, you get the chance to have your voice heard and make a change. We know everyone is busy and the last thing you want to do is come to a meeting. But without all our members, it’s just the few people on the Board making decisions. Your voice matters and we want to hear it!
